Trash Can Requirements:
All city residents MUST use trash cans for trash pickup
Trash cans must meet the following requirements:
- No larger than 32 gallons
- No heavier than 50 pounds
- Must have handles and lids
- Lid must be on at all times
Recycle:
Recycling bags are available at the Street Department Office, 1300 Illinois Avenue, during regular business hours. There is a limit of one roll per address per visit. Bags are available at no charge to city residents. Recycle pickup is on Thursdays.
