Helps to ensure the consistent quality of Connersville city parks through beautification projects and general maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Mowing and trimming
Operates vehicles and equipment
Must have a cell phone
Must be familiar with applicable state laws, City Ordinances, zoning regulations, and park policies and procedures
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and or/training; or equivalent of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to park visitors, other city employees, and supervisors.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class B preferred
